I'm Defiance! Creative Copywriter
& Content Coordinator

Welcome to my homebase.

I write sharp, thoughtful copy that cuts through crowded feeds and endless scrolls. While I’ve worked in a few different industries, I’m most drawn to projects that connect people to what they love, especially in the culture, lifestyle, and sports spaces.

I’m based in Greenville, South Carolina, but I'm always open to relocating for the right opportunity (and story).

From “Givin’ Szn” to a
Record-Breaking Win

Campaign Kickoff-1.jpg

For GirlUp Greenville’s 2025 Giving Tuesday campaign, we refreshed their existing "TeamUp With GirlUp" concept into “It’s Givin’ Szn” to support their $25,000 fundraising goal.

Inspired by 90s athletic posters, we created bold, energetic visuals and encouraged the girls to bring accessories that represented their real passions—not just sports—to spotlight the diversity of their identities.

Through a coordinated print and social media campaign, the organization ultimately raised over $40,000 on Giving Tuesday—nearly doubling their original goal.

Every Tailgate Needs A Game Plan

Nothing says fall in the South like kicking off football season. By blending bold branding with football-inspired “plays,” I helped create a campaign that brought the energy of the locker room straight to the tailgate—making Spinx the easy call for a winning weekend. We rolled it out across OOH, digital, and Google Local to reach fans wherever they were gearing up.

Nothing But Words

Take a listen to a few radio spots I developed from first draft to final, client-approved work. Two are live now, with a few more on the way.

Take a Timeout

During peak sports season, we tapped into the energy of North Carolina and Virginia fans who live for gameday and could use a break from the noise. “Take a Timeout” invited them to trade stadium crowds for shoreline calm, showing that the coast offers a different kind of win: rest, recharge, and room to breathe.

Peach Season

I help Pearson Farm get more people to fall for the Georgia Peach. I’ve written 90+ emails and developed nine months of social content that follow the rhythm of the farm — from pruning and pollination to the first box shipped — building anticipation for peach season and turning curiosity into peach and pecan orders.

Print Media Ain't Dead!

I crafted 62 headlines for 15 distinct audiences—each one tailored to appear in some of the nation’s top magazines. From concept to copy, every line was written to resonate with the right readers at the right time. A few have already made their debut—check them out.

A blog and survival guide for navigating your 20s with humor, honesty, and heart. Inspired by the chaos of early adulthood (and a certain early-2000s TV show), each post tackles real-life topics like mental health, relationships, career changes, and personal growth—written in a voice that feels like your smartest, most unfiltered friend.

The Tiger

For two years, I wrote editorial pieces for Clemson University’s student-run newspaper. My most-read work reached over 25,000 views online.

Campaigns, Classrooms,
& Clemson Grit.

At Clemson University, I combined creativity, leadership, and communication across the classroom, campus, and community. I earned my B.A. in Women’s Leadership with a minor in Writing: Media Studies—balancing D1 rowing with roles that sharpened my voice and vision as a writer. From writing editorial pieces for The Tiger Newspaper to leading campus organizations and crafting brand messaging for real-world clients through Cadency, I learned how to tell stories that resonate.
